STEEL
Steel is naturally stronger than all other materials used in the manufacturing of toe caps. Because of its strength, the toe cap has also a thinner layer leading in more space around your toes.
COMPOSITE
Composite toe caps are made from non-metal materials such as fiberglass, carbon fiber, or plastics and offer impact protection of a minimum of 200 Joules. They are lighter than steel toe caps and don't conduct the heat or cold in extreme weather or work conditions, resulting in extra comfort.
ALUMINUM
Aluminum toe caps, also know as " alloy toes ", have been developed to bring the resistance of steel toes to a lighter weight ( 30-50 % lighter than steel ). Alloy toes are not metal-free, however, they have a low profile, which makes them ideal for sportive safety shoes.
NANO CARBON
Innovative Carbon Nanofiber material makes these safety toes the lightest and most advanced safety toe available on the market. The weight of the SJ Nano Carbon toe cap is 50% less than a traditional steel safety toe cap and 40% less than a standard composite toe cap.
